Who we are

Capitol Compliance Management is a California cannabis regulatory-compliance consultancy headquartered in Sacramento, steps from the agencies that write and enforce the rules our clients live by. We work with cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and delivery operators across the state to keep their licenses in good standing and their records defensible. To be clear about what we are and are not: we are compliance consultants, not attorneys. We do not practice law or provide legal representation. When a matter calls for legal counsel, we work alongside your cannabis attorney rather than in place of one. That boundary is a feature of how we operate, because it keeps you covered on both the operational and the legal side.

Audit-ready, not just audit-reactive

When a DCC audit or inspection lands, the operators who fare best are the ones whose documentation already tells a clean, consistent story: inventory that ties to METRC, SOPs that match practice, employee and training records that are current, and a paper trail that holds up under questioning. We help you build toward that state and stay there. If findings do come back, we focus on remediation and corrective action, the operational work of fixing what was flagged and documenting the fix, carried out in coordination with your legal counsel. For any enforcement matter that touches your license status or an appeal, that is the practice of law and belongs with your cannabis attorney.
